History

Pipette PuceAfter almost ten years of research, genomics – which allows for an early obtaining of reliable genetic information, in particular for those traits that are difficult to measure – have drastically changed the beef genetics market in 2009.

Apart from the activities that were collectively undertaken within the framework of the national research program around this new technology, Genes Diffusion – since eight years established at the campus of the Pasteur Institute in Lille – in 2009 wanted to provide itself with its own tool in order to be able to offer made-to-measure, advanced biotechnological services to its many partners.

As a result, the Genes Diffusion Genomic Platform was formed. It mainly concerns itself with bovines and pigs and has its base at the grounds of the Pasteur Institute in Lille.
