Laboratoire de recherche Laboratoire de recherche Echantillons

To stay in the lead in the new millennium, the GENES DIFFUSION Group has its own research laboratory. Renowned for its innovative approach and success in artificial insemination and embryo transfer, the research team achievements include: GEDEON, the first french calf born from in-vitro fertilization, and CLONY, the first european bovine clone.

Several technological innovations are born thanks to these years of experimentations. The GEDIS®, the catheter which revolutionizes swine A.I., with its "all in one" concept, is one of the greatest successes of the Research & Development department. Among other technologies recognized by the professionals, we must mention the COLLECTIS® and a range of semen extenders: BIODIL, GEDIL and GEDIL Light.

These technologies having largely proved their effectiveness, several french semen production centers are now benefiting from it. Outside France, the demand is also growing, coming either from semen production centers or large breeding facilities that produce their own semen (Quebec, United States, Spain, Belgium, Poland...). To follow the development of these technologies and to ease its appropriation by the different users (A.I. centers, partners, distributors...), they are marketed from now on under the generic brand GENES DIFFUSION TECHNOLOGIES.

Our Research Department strives to make its advanced technology an integral part of the services currently offered to its clients. These achievements, the core of GENES DIFFUSION’s production technology, are also integrated into our permanent quality control approach.

Improving productivity at a controlled cost is the objective of GENES DIFFUSION Research & Development department. By working closely with our technical staff, they also provide our employees with training in the most advanced technologies, especially those involved in the improvement of animal genetics. The work they perform benefits not only to the GENES DIFFUSION Group but to its partners as well.
