Holstein Genetics : Gènes Diffusion Well Placed
PLM Magazine has composed an honor list of the most-used Holstein sires of 2008.
Three bulls from Gènes Diffusion can be found in the top 10.
As number 8 and 9 of the ranking respectively, ROYAUME and THILLOT form part of the most-used elite sires of France.
ROYAUME has 34,176 first inseminations to his name, while THILLOT has a total of
33,020.
And finally ROTHENEUF, who was the most-used Gènes Diffusion bull with
a total of 46,284 first inseminations. This Jocko son went straight to a 3rd place
in the French ranking.
With 3 of its bulls among the 10 most important French sires, Gènes Diffusion confirms
its position as one of the major breeding centers for Holstein genetics in France.
