In 2010 Eurogénétique introduces new Longevity Challenge
During the next edition of Eurogénétique, taking place at Epinal on 8, 9 and 10
April 2010, the organizers, in partnership with Prim’Holstein France, will introduce
the first « LONGEVITY » challenge.
In
this challenge will participate the 50 best French Holsteins that have produced
a minimum lifetime total of 40,000 kg of milk.
Through this innovative confrontation the longevity of the Holstein cow will be
put in the spotlights, and its capacity to stay long in the herd.
These
cows will be sourced all over France, with the assistance of Prim’Holstein France.
This new challenge is planned for Saturday, April 10th, while the traditional Eurogénétique
Show, with cows from the Eurogénétique area, will take place on Friday, April 9th.
