The April 2017 index is an important release because it matches with the choice of the bulls that will compose the offer for the next campaign.

Now even more international – key impulses for improving competitiveness of Russian animal husbandry
In the best Portuguese herds, we can find daughters of ROUMARE. And whatever the orientation of the herd is, ROUMARE is widely appreciated. But ROUMARE is not the only bull of Genes Diffusion to give the entire satisfaction to the Portuguese farmers.
One Holstein heifer, daughter of COLDFRIEND RF bull, was particularly illustrated during the Swiss Expo, the largest European Holstein Cattle Show which took place from January 17 to 20, 2012 in Lausanne.
From December 5 – 7, 2011 a delegation of Genes Diffusion sire analysts has visited Hungary to take a look at the progeny of DT BENITO, the #1 Shottle son in the world. During the regional show in Brittany, which took place in Quimper on Saturday, 19 March 2011, a ROUMARE daughter from the CABON herd (a partner of Genes Diffusion) has been awarded the « Championne Espoir » title by the Swiss judge Marcus ERBER.
The Holstein selection program of Genes Diffusion is popular abroad and continues to obtain significant results on an international level. In Slovakia, a daughter of the old MATTHEW bull distinguishes herself with her production figures, while in Australia the first products from the program that Genes Diffusion initiated in this country start to attract attention.

For a long time, the Netherlands has been the spearhead of development in the milk production industry in Europe. These 4 outstanding newcomers are confirming their figures, as well as a few other proven sires.

In 10 years, the national production has quadrupled. The demand for milk is increasing all the time. So the need for milking cows, good milking cows is considerable. To refresh your memory: It was during the largest dairy show in the southern hemisphere, the International Dairy Week 2008. With around 30 animals in the sale, a daughter from ROUMARE attracted the top price of 26,900 Euro (443,000 A$) . This superb heifer, Anastasia, was acquired by Jet Star Holsteins, a farm in the northern part of the state of Victoria.
After the last Holstein index release of October 2009, Gènes Diffusion has published a new catalogue which includes all the news of this last release. The catalogue presents the Seniors and Premium series.
The new 2010 Charolais Optimal catalogue has been released! All those who love to work with Charolais genetics will find their best bulls in this Charolais Optimal selection.
Gènes Diffusion is satisfied with the new index publication, in which genomic bulls and bulls that have a progeny-based index (polygenic) are both included. With almost 40% of its bulls in the top 100, the breeding organization confirms its position as a major player in the creation of French Holstein genetics.
POPULAIR is a Charolais bull with a very fitting name. Known and appreciated by breeders both in France and abroad, this 2006 « Maternal Qualities Champion » was born at the farm of Jean-Marc GUILHEM, in the Saône & Loire department (71). UNIBLOC, another bull originating from this farm, has also recently entered the selection program of Gènes Diffusion.
Traditionally, as part of the « Sommet de l’Elevage » at Cournon (held on 7, 8 and 9 October 2009), the « Sommets d’Or » are being awarded. This year, Gènes Diffusion is one of the Award winners with its GD Packs program.
During the next edition of Eurogénétique, taking place at Epinal on 8, 9 and 10 April 2010, the organizers, in partnership with Prim’Holstein France, will introduce the first « LONGEVITY » challenge.
Marie-Claude and Jean-Paul GUIBERT, the breeders of PINAY who were recently honored at the National Charolais Show at La Roche-sur-Yon, still have the dam of the famous Charolais bull in their barns (EARL Guibert – 85). Mary – that’s her name – is active as a permanent embryo donor…

On the occasion of the National Charolais Show, held at La Roche-sur-Yon on August 27 – 29 of this year, an open-air showcase of Charolais Breeders from the Vendée region was presented at the grounds of the Etablières farm. Apis Diffusion, the cooperative for animal insemination, had reserved two areas for the promotion of the bulls of the Charolais Optimal program.
For this year’s traditional National Charolais Show, held at la Roche-sur-Yon on August 27, 28 and 29, 550 animals have travelled to the Vendée region. Genes Diffusion certainly did not fall short of expectations with the Charolais Optimal show and the presentation of the bulls housed at the stud of CIA Apis Diffusion.
On June 20th and 21st, 2009, the interregional show “Campagne en Fête” was held at the French village of Poix de Picardie (80), where 86 animals participated in the Holstein Show. The record of achievements attributed an important role to the longevity traits, thus underlining the undeniable qualities of JESTHER in the area of the functional traits.
