On May 23, 2008, the popular regional show in Kremnicka took place. Found in the
northwest region of Slovakia, this area has a high density of Holstein cows. Over
one-third of animals participating at the show were sired by Genes Diffusion Optimal
bulls. In the end, it was a 3rd lactation LIERVAL daughter named Grand Champion.
With a sire stacking of Dombinator x Mascot x Southwind x Tradition x Valiant x
Elevation, it has been said,
“LIERVAL has a pedigree without faults”. This
bull was a key component to the Genes Diffusion Optimal catalog from 2000 – 2004.
A daughter of the Genes Diffusion Optimal bull, TIMELEON (Monza x Addison) also
showed a remarkable performance. This promising young bull was co-tested in the
Slovak Republic and France. “He will be positive in the functional traits and quite
high for type evaluation”, comments Stefan D’Hulster, Genes Diffusion Optimal representative
responsible for bovine genetics in central Europe.
